HELPING OTHERS (MISSIONS)

BackPack Buddies provides snack packs for students at Carroll County Middle School and Gladesboro Elementary School to assist students  from homes where food is scarce.  This is the seventh year our church has provided these snack packs so the students have enough food to eat over the weekend.  This year we are providing 75-80 snack packs.  We deliver the meals to each school from mid-September through the end of the school year.

Gladesboro Shoe Ministry

includes providing a complete food meal at Christmastime for 1-2 needy families along with 18-20 pair of new shoes for students.  All items are purchased by church members and delivered to the school.  Our church also provides volunteers to assist in the classrooms at GBES in reading, writing and math.

Prayer Shawls are made by members of our church and are given to people for an illness, birth, wedding, shut-in, death, special occasion, or simply for prayer.  The prayer shawls are blessed at a Sunday morning church service and then presented to the recipient.
