BACK PACK BUDDIES
Provides snack packs for students at Carroll County Middle School and Gladesboro Elementary School to assist students from homes where food is scarce. This is the eighth year our church has provided these snack packs so the students have enough food to eat over the weekend. This year we are providing 75-80 snack packs. We deliver the meals to each school from mid-September through the end of the school year.
FOOD PANTRY
Hillsville Presbyterian's food pantry is located at 172 South Main St. Hillsville, VA. Carroll County residents will receive drive-up service while remaining in their vehicles. Our volunteers will take orders based on our stock, providing 10 food items for households with 1-2 people and 20 food items for households of 3-4 people and 30 items for households with 5 or more people. BASKETS FOR NEW MOTHERS
Helps to support new mothers of need in Carroll County with supplies to care for their newly arrived baby. Baskets include diapers, thermometer, detergent, baby powder, and other necessary items for new mothers.
